Show Class is a 12-week dedicated special class held each year from December to March.

 

In preparation for the St. Patrick's Day season, Show Class dancers learn custom dance numbers designed specifically for performances by The Sheila Healy Academy at local events.

 

Each year, upon completion of Show Class, dancers will be awarded Certification to be able to participate in special performances all year long... not just for St. Patrick’s Day! Past shows have been hosted by local restaurants, pubs, and retirement communities. Other performances have included tv appearances, parades and private events. Shows not only give dancers the opportunity to invite their family and friends to see them dance, but also to show off their steps!

 

There are many wonderful shows already lined up for the 2024 St. Patrick’s Day season! All Healy Academy dancers are encouraged to participate and make show performances another part of their Irish Dance experience.
